I think it’s really important not to neglect listening as a skill, given that it’s perhaps seen as less glamourous than speaking.

Something that I found really helpful was going over and over video clips designed for beginners until I felt confident enought to move onto real Spanish TV and films.

Why Learn Spanish?
1. Travelling to the Spanish-speaking countries becomes much easier.
2. You can better communicate with the Spanish-speakers.
3. Speaking Spanish makes your job easier to be attained and settled.
4. You can teach Spanish, and make money.
5. Spanish movies, songs and literature can truly be enjoyed if you understand Spanish.
